MIRO offers six membership categories depending on the structure and activities of member organisations. MIRO membership is designed to facilitate effective participation in collaborative Research and Technology Development (RTD) projects in the minerals and related industries in UK, Europe and internationally. The MIRO RTD project portfolio contributes towards improved communication, safety and environmental performance at all stages of the materials life cycle, meeting the challenges of sustainable development, and increasing the positive image of the minerals sector. By becoming a member of MIRO, your organisation will gain many benefits from the broad spectrum of MIRO RTD activity as well as assistance with sourcing external RTD project funding. With access to MIRO networking, your organisation will be in a position to influence MIRO’s strategic research programme for mutual benefit.
